There’s a world of adventure waiting, just 25 minutes from almost anywhere in San Diego. Mexico is calling, with exciting music, wonderful food, great clubs, luxurious hotels, golf, beaches and -- best of all -- world class shopping. Tijuana, the gateway to Mexico, is only minutes away. The current exchange rate for pesos gives Americans with dollars a favorable advantage. Things just cost less in Mexico, be it a gourmet meal or a round of golf. The potential border wait need not discourage visitors. At most times, people can get back across is 1/2 hour or less. Visitors can save time by parking at the last US exit and taking the “Red Bus” across and back or by walking over the border. It is a 20 minute walk to the center of Tijuana.
